Lisa began practicing yoga in 1999 as a means to calm her anxious mind and tune her jittery body. When she was introduced to Astanga Yoga, she found the style that resonated with her, an energetic, vibrant practice that filled her with a sense of strength and wellbeing. The practice taught her to focus and discipline her mind. Her specialty is making a daunting style of yoga (ashtanga) approachable and fun!!

Shala Yoga Canter is offering a hybrid teacher training. In person and online. You will deepen your own practice and learn to teach. Not only will you learn to teach Asana, but you will learn the philosophy and the beautiful traditions behind the practice. We are excited to offer training in MORE then just the physical practice of asana. The training will take place from June 2017 to May 2018 over 12 months
This year we will be doing a unique hybrid training. Weekend training sessions will be held two weekend days a month, for 4 hours each (TBA) for the first semester (6 months). In that semseter we will focus on the workshops and online study and the second semester will be made up of internship & practicum (no weekend workshops).
We believe this is the best way to learn and experiance the beauty of a yoga teacher training and still be around for your family!
$300 deposit and payments of $225 monthly.

An energetic practice designed to bulid up a natural detoxifying heat that leaves you with a light lean body and a calm collected mind. Expect to get a workout as well as a work in.
All level practice. Learn basic postures at a slow gentle pace. Prenatal and family friendly. Appropiate for ages 10 and up.
Vinyasa means breath linked with movement. In this class the postures are linked together like a dance with the breath. Movements flow together and leave you feeling amazing.
